This small boutique winery, nestled at the base of Mt. Garfield, is the home to a sunshine-filled estate vineyard and winery ran by an ambitious mother-daughter duo. The grapes used to produce these delectable bottles of wine were carefully cared for, harvested, and processed by the winemaker and her family. From planting these vines in 2011 to creating her first full-body wine in 2019, the winemaker, Courtney, has a knack for turning the process of winemaking into an artform, as she is also the artist that created the labels. Being born and raised in Palisade, growing up in the house that the vineyard resides on, Courtney has made it her mission to instill the taste of humble beginnings and her love of her hometown and art into each and every glass.

Having hands-on experience by helping manage the vineyard with her mom since 2011, Courtney graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in oil painting in 2017, she then moved back home to pursue winemaking and viticulture. Courtney apprenticed a talented local winemaker at Hermosa Vineyards until he encouraged her to start her own brands of wines in 2019, making her first wine under the Blue Beryl name a light fruit forward Malbec.
