85 & 100 MILE COURSES
Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway
THE COURSE
The Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour travels counterclockwise around the beautiful Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway and features two passes in Palo Flechado and Bobcat.
Both courses will start and finish in the Town of Red River, and travel through the Village of Questa, Town of Taos and Village of Eagle Nest and peak at an elevation of 9,820 feet on Bobcat Pass. For those who want to go the extra mile (or fifteen) and accomplish a century, cyclists will be routed in and out of the Village of Angel Fire with a quick visit to Angel Fire Resort. Please note, in order to do the century option, you must be at the turnoff at Angel Fire no later than 12 p.m.
Participants will have the opportunity to ride some of the most picturesque areas in the southwest experiencing rewarding climbs, rolling hills, fast descents and hairpin turns. Course support includes route signage, law enforcement / medical, road marshals, SAGs, and fully stocked aid stations, to include bike mechanics.

Open roads - ride safe!
Enchanted Circle is held on open roads with vehicular traffic and marked and unmarked hazards. Though we go to great lengths to make the event as safe as possible, you are only as safe as you ride. Please ride carefully when descending. There are steep descents, tight curves and the road conditions vary from good to poor. Use caution and control your speed.
