How to Enjoy the Ride
We've got six more great events on tap this year, starting with the Winter Park doubleheader July 22, two more in August and the final two in September. Whether you are aiming for a PR at Crooked Gravel or looking to enjoy the big climbs at Copper Triangle and not simply endure them, the best way to get the most of your big event is simple: ride more, starting now.
Why is chain lubrication important?
The bike chain is the essential part of your bicycle. It’s responsible for transferring power from the pedals to the wheels. But as you ride, dirt, dust, and grime build up on the chain. This can cause friction and wear, which can lead to damage and ultimately reduce the lifespan of your chain. Lubricating your bike chain reduces friction, wear and it helps to keep your chain running smoothly and can significantly extend its lifespan. This means that you'll get better performance from your bike and save money in the long run by avoiding costly repairs or replacement parts.

I've studied physiology and coached athletes from Olympians to everyday riders for 20 years, and I’m here to tell you that the number one thing you can do to improve your training is simply by riding consistency. Ride your bike at least three days per week; do four days per week if you have the time, and try for five days per week if you have big goals.

Rider Safety
Our events are conducted on open roads with vehicular traffic present. The roads have both marked and unmarked hazards. Please be careful and remember that you are only as safe as you ride.
